Healing Steps: A Run to Support Victims of Abuse

For over two decades, our community has come together for the annual C∙A∙T∙S Walk/Run, uniting in support of survivors and raising essential funds for the Center for Assault Treatment Services (C∙A∙T∙S). As the only 24/7/365 emergency response program in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, C∙A∙T∙S provides immediate, compassionate care for individuals affected by domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

In addition, we support the Medical Safe Haven (MSH) clinic, a one of a kind program in Los Angeles, offering a comprehensive, trauma-informed approach to medical and mental health care for human trafficking survivors.

Why Your Support Matters
Every step you take and every dollar you give directly impacts survivors. In the past year alone, C∙A∙T∙S provided critical services to 941 victims—58% of them children—ensuring they receive the care, protection, and support they need to heal.

How You Can Help
Funds raised from the Walk/Run provide essential resources, including:

🏃 Forensic medical exams and interviews
🏃 Evidence collection and injury documentation
🏃 Medical referrals and ongoing support

With a compassionate and dedicated team, C∙A∙T∙S helps survivors begin their journey to healing, offering them hope and a path forward.

Step Up for Survivors
By participating in the C∙A∙T∙S Walk/Run, you are making a profound difference in the lives of survivors. Join us in standing against abuse, advocating for safety, and ensuring that every survivor receives the care and dignity they deserve.
