As a member of the CATS walk/run committee and a team leader, please consider joining me on April 5th for our Annual C·A·T·S Walk/Run. I am putting together a team filled with energy, spirit, and passion, and I would love for you to be a part of it! Whether you walk, run, or simply cheer us on, your participation means so much.

If you’re unable to attend, I’d greatly appreciate it if you’d consider donating to support this important cause. Every contribution, big or small, has a profound impact.

For over 23 years, thousands of participants have come together to support the Annual C·A·T·S Walk/Run, helping to raise critical funds for the Center for Assault Treatment Services (C·A·T·S) program. Every dollar donated to C·A·T·S makes a meaningful impact, enabling the provision of compassionate, comprehensive care to survivors of all ages.

Over the past few months, I had the opportunity to intern with the Center for Assault Treatment Services (C·A·T·S) program. This vital initiative of Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is the only 24/7/365 immediate response program in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys, offering forensic interviews and medical-legal evidentiary examinations for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child physical abuse, and human trafficking.

The center is also a proud supporter of Medical Safe Haven (MSH) clinic, the only program of its kind in Los Angeles providing integrated medical and mental health services for victims of human trafficking.

Proceeds from the Walk/Run support essential services, including:

Forensic interviews and medical exams
Evidence collection and injury assessments
Medical referrals and follow-up care
Through a coordinated and collaborative approach, C·A·T·S helps survivors begin their healing journey with the care and dignity they deserve.

Join me in this vital mission and ensure survivors receive the services they need to heal, recover, and thrive. Together, we can make a difference!

Lets bring the heat!

With love,
Sydney Goldflam
